Leaving for Quito

Well this adventure is officially underway.  I'm getting ready to leave for DFW.  From  there I will fly to Miami for a brief layover before I catch my flight to Quito, Ecuador.

Quito Ecuador is just 14 miles south of the Equator but, it  is also 9348 ft. above sea level so I expect the climate to be pleasant.  It may, however, take me a day or two to acclimate to the altitude.  I sometimes experience headaches when I'm at such high altitudes.  We'll see.

Quito is a nice old city with lots of historic buildings.  I'll have a couple of days to explore before I leave for the Galapagos Islands.

It's Time to Head Home

Though I may be returning home, Galapagos has taught me to be always moving forward.   What does that mean? A final Reflection:
